Bumbershoot 2011, Seattle Music & Arts Festival (September 3-5 at Seatle Centre), was plenty of music and also of art. One of the visual arts exhibitions that the event offered was the "Magic Show", curated by Kathy Lindenmayer. Likely it picked up on the exjibit shown in Plattform Gallery, (at Pioneer Square, Seattle) in July of that same year, named "Magicality" featuring 14 artist from Seattle and around the nation, whereas there were 6 in the "Magic Show":

Viewed through a peephole, the piece consists of illuminated glass globes painted with disembodied facial features that rotate seemingly at random ... until they suddenly coalesce — fleetingly, teasingly — into an androgynous visage.

I haven't find a video of this work but below it is shown the video of another anamorphosis, "Hair", where it is noticeable how the illusion is.

It's made of steel, nevertheless in its fragmented state, seemingly it couldn't support a mouse but apparently it is capable of handling the weight of a whole human being.

El músico usó una silla de ruedas la mayor parte de su vida. En la instantánea, Chesnutt y su silla flotan sobre un cojín invisible de aire, proyectando sombras exquisitamente precisas sobre el parqué debajo de ellos.
The musician used a wheelchair most of his life. In the shot, Chesnutt and his wheelchair float on an invisible cushion of air, casting exquisitely precise shadows on the hardwood floor below them.

I contribute only a frame of the short, since it is seemed that the video shown in the exhibition isn't in internet. The video depicted the unfurling of fir trees.

Rhodes está de pié frente al espejo limpiando su presencia visual hasta que la única parte de su cuerpo visible es el interior de su boca y su lengua.
Rhodes stands in front of a mirror slowly wiping his visual presence away until the only part of his body not invisible is his inner mouth and tongue.
